GRADUATE WASTEWATER ENGINEER

As a member of the Jones & Carter team, you will have an opportunity to participate in challenging and diversified projects in water and wastewater treatment plant design. We are currently searching for college grads for our Houston, Texas office. This position will involve the design of wastewater treatment plants, water plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, SCADA systems, security, dewatering and power consumption evaluations.  As a new grad, you will perform the role of project manager on your first project: meeting the client, determining the needs and constraints, preforming, analysis, preliminary engineering, design, preparation of plans and specifications, bidding and construction phase services.  Close supervision and guidance by licensed engineers ensures that the project goals are met, but allows the new grad to learn at an unimpeded rate.

A Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited university is required and with a grade point average of 2.9 or better.  In addition, you must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
