Lebon Water Plant

Jones & Carter, Inc. served as the design and construction management engineer for two projects at the Lebon Water Plant. The first project included a 3,000-gpm water well, a new control building, a 900-kilowatt generator, plant piping, controls, and electrical. The well is a 1,900-foot deep, 24"x18" gravel-packed water well with a 15" vertical turbine pump and a 600 hp motor. The generator and electrical improvements were sized to accommodate the next expansion of the plant.

The second project included a two million-gallon pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank; a 20,000 gallon hydropneumatic tank; five 1,300-gpm booster pumps, a concrete driveway, plant piping, controls, new electrical equipment, and over 400 feet of off-site waterline.
