Detention Basin Roadside Ditch and Storm Sewer

Jones & Carter, Inc. provided analysis of an existing drainage system in North Houston along Gosling Road between Spring-Stuebner Road and Kuykendahl Road to determine Gosling Road's impact on Seals Gully. The solution for this approximate one mile of storm sewer and drainage ditches along Gosling Road encompassed several improvements including a 35 acre-foot detention basin. This project proved challenging due to a variety of regulatory design criteria that the final design had to consider. Jones & Carter, Inc. worked closely with TxDOT, Harris County, and Bridgestone MUD on this project.
