Denton Crossing - Denton, Texas

Denton Crossing is a 55-acre development in Denton, Texas that will include 500,000 square feet of retail/commercial shopping space. We coordinated site plan approval, prepared plats, and designed the public and private infrastructure to serve the development. Public infrastructure included:

• Brinker Road - a four-lane divided roadway, including utilities, signalization, multiple turn lanes and bus stops
• Spencer Road utilities - including water, storm sewer and sanitary sewer
• Drainage channel - 1,500-foot regional channel, including slope-paving, maintenance ramps, and large box culvert crossings
• Detention pond - including storm water quality features
• Regional trunk storm sewer and waterlines

Along with the City of Denton and private utility companies, we also coordinated approvals with the following agencies:

• FEMA - for floodplain relocation
• USACE - for wetlands mitigation
• TxDOT - for right-of-way establishment and access points
