Old Orchard

Old Orchard is a 205-acre single-family development located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) of the Houston area, previously serving as one of the premier public golf courses in the Houston area. Jones & Carter, Inc. has coordinated the redevelopment of the golf course. Our services have included the design and construction of underground utilities and paving for approximately 125 acres within this development. We also coordinated the location and removal of a previously undocumented network of services lines ranging in size from 1" PVC pipe to large diameter concrete pipe.

Additionally, we have coordinated the demolition of the golf course's parking lots, buildings, pump stations, sanitary sewer system, and the relocation of existing utilities. The most extensive redevelopment work performed on the project has been the mass re-grading of the 205-acre site.

Due to the topography of the old golf course, Jones & Carter, Inc. performed site grading plans, fill plans, and temporary drainage plans to ensure an adequate and functioning site drainage system.
