West Ten Business Park

West Ten is a 475-acre premier master-planned business park located in the City of Katy fronting both Interstate Highway 10 (IH-10) and State Highway 90 (SH-90).

Jones & Carter, Inc. has coordinated preliminary engineering and planning efforts for development of the park. Our services include land planning, surveying, preliminary engineering for creation of a Municipal Utility District, design of underground utilities, paving, and detention facilities, a drainage study, and floodplain remapping. We also coordinated design efforts with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for construction of an on and off ramp from IH-10 and worked with the City of Katy for construction of a boulevard street through the park connecting IH-10 to SH-90.

Additionally we have coordinated relocation of nearly 30,000 linear feet of existing natural gas pipelines. We worked with over 10 oil and gas companies on locating existing facilities and creating new pipeline easements in an effort to gain surface control for development of the site.

Jones & Carter, Inc. is currently the District Engineer, and as the development continues to grow, we will be responsible for the expansion of existing water, sewer, and drainage facilities to serve the park.
