Target Retail Distribution Center - Midlothian, Texas

Ryan Companies US, Inc. retained Jones & Carter, Inc. to perform design, surveying and construction management services for the Target Retail Distribution Center in Midlothian, Texas. Since the beginning of the project we were involved with providing due diligence, site selection and land planning services. Upon site selection, we performed boundary and topographic surveys of the 124-acre site, and were responsible for the relocation of a major drainage channel that traversed the site.

Jones & Carter, Inc. also extended approximately 5,700 linear feet of sanitary sewer and 5,800 linear feet of underground electrical duct bank for the utility needs of the Target facility. Due to the critical timeframe of the client, we provided a permitted site, including platting and design, within 90 days of release. As construction progressed on the 1,450,000 square foot distribution facility, we provided survey control, construction staking, as-built surveying and construction inspection services.
