Our survey departments consist of a Survey Manager, Department Manager(s), Project Manager(s), a Chief of Parties (whose primary purpose is field crew production), Field Crew Chiefs, Field Crew Members, CAD operators, and an Administrative Assistant. Field crews are provided well-maintained, dependable vehicles, and use state-of-the-art equipment including GPS with rover units, robotic instruments, and total stations with data collectors. Our quality control is maintained by the combined experience of our personnel, along with the written procedures developed since 1976.
Crew Chiefs are required to follow our Field Procedures manual. Additionally, all Project Managers are issued copies of the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying Minimum Standards, the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors Standards and Specifications, and the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ASCM Land Title Surveys. We also have checklists for different types of surveys, and memorandums on how to prepare Deed plots and Point Sheets. Everyone in the Surveying operation is aware that our Standard Procedures are the foundation we depend upon to provide excellent service and quality products to our clients.
