Harvest Green Awarded as the 2018 Quality Planned Development by The West Houston Association

Harvest Green, a 1,055-acre master-planned community and “agri-hood”, is the first Houston-area development to be centered around a 12-acre working farm. Since 2014, Jones|Carter has worked with the Johnson Development Corp., on the Harvest Green community in Richmond. On December 4, 2018, the West Houston Association awarded Harvest Green the Quality Planned Development Award. The award is selectively granted to mixed-use developments that meet and exceed a series of benchmark standards, including a pedestrian-friendly environment, high quality prescriptive architectural standards as well as a diverse mix of single family, townhomes, and multi-family apartments and condos. Harvest Green is a masterfully planned community that boasts ample homes, schools, retail space, parks, and additional amenities, which includes the onsite farm and a farmer’s market.

Even though the design is now complete, our team still plays an active role at Harvest Green by serving as District Engineer for the community.
