Scott has been with Jones|Carter since 1985. He currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development. He previously held the position of Hydrology & Hydraulics Deputy Practice Leader, with primary responsibility for overseeing all stormwater related activities for Jones|Carter, primarily in the Houston Metropolitan area. He has more than 30 years of working knowledge with planning, evaluation, design, construction and maintenance drainage and detention facilities. Scott’s work has involved the master planning of overall drainage systems, the evaluation of existing and proposed drainage systems, and the engineering, design, construction and maintenance of channels, large sewer systems, storm water quality facilities, and detention facilities. He has also worked on low impact drainage systems (LID) and was an active part of the committee that developed LID standards for Harris County. His work has included coordinating and working with various cities, counties and Flood Control and Drainage Districts, as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
