City of Houston Floodplain Regulations Revisions Explained

Houston City Council has passed revisions to the Chapter 19 Floodplain Ordinance that will go into effect September 1st, 2018. The updated regulations require a minimum elevation at the 500-year floodplain level plus two feet.
