Kent O’Brien, PE Receives 2020 Engineer of the Year Award

Vice President Kent O’Brien, PE has been awarded the 2020 Engineer of the Year Award for the Travis Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE). He accepted the award at the Travis Chapter’s 2020 Engineers Banquet on February 14th.

“I am thankful to be selected by the TSPE Travis Chapter as Engineer of the Year. To be recognized in such a way by my PE peers is incredibly rewarding and humbling,” said Kent.

Kent is an innovative and result-driven leader with more than 35 years of experience in business leadership, project development and civil engineering. His work history encompasses a range of land development, water resource and transportation projects for public and private clients across South Texas.

In addition to the TSPE, Kent is an active member of multiple organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
