Jones|Carter performed the mobility plan for the Springwoods Village development on northwest corner of IH 45 at SH 99 (Grand Parkway) in Harris County.
The mobility plan evaluated existing and future transportation needs for the development, including identifying where future capacity constraints might occur once SH 99 was opened and how the Springwoods Village Phase 1 opening would impact CityPlace.
The J|C team performed data collection and capacity analyses at more than 20 vital intersections in the development for various scenarios. The analyses worked as a tool to help mitigate impacts to the nearly 100,000 average daily traffic in the area. J|C was able to identify traffic issues and proactively develop a plan of action to help maintain an acceptable level of service prior to any major access changes or large development construction.
