Seth Swaringen, PE Awarded 2020 Young Engineer of the Year Award

Seth Swaringen, PE, Transportation Project Engineer, was awarded the 2020 Young Engineer of the Year award from the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) on February 18th during the Preston Trail Chapter Annual Engineers Week Award Luncheon.
“It is truly an honor to have been selected as the TSPE Preston Trail Young Engineer of the Year,” Seth said. “Jones|Carter has contributed greatly to me winning this award by actively pushing me to engage in professional societies that allow me to learn and grow in the field.”
Seth has more than 6 years of experience in transportation engineering. He is an active member of the community and leads the North Texas MATHCOUNTS volunteer initiative within our firm. To be eligible for the award, Seth had to meet seven criteria categories ranging from community involvement and career achievements to collegiate activities and professional society activities.
Seth has worked on several notable projects during his time at J|C including the North & South Kuehler Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion, the Richland Hills Hike & Bike Trails and FM 70.
